We are gearing up for another Lima Bean Battle with our Second Annual Lima Bean Faire to be held September 24 through 26, 2010...a real Lima Bean weekend!
Why Lima Beans? Because, early days in the coastal areas it was fields of lima beans, before they morphed into flower fields. Since then, Lima Beans have fallen from family favorite to the Charley Brown of vegetables.
But that is all about to change...
The 22nd Annual BBQ was held at the museum on May 15th. This event has always been clebrated as a California tradition and Brett's BBQ cooked up a traditional "Santa Maria" menu for the occasion...
