Have you heard that history has literally come to life at The Heritage Ranch?! That’s right, our new interactive homesteading exhibit Olivenhain Farms is now open. Encinitas and particularly Olivenhain has a rich history of homesteading. We are very excited that not only will guests get to see pictures of this time in history in our museum, but now they can head out back and experience it. Washing clothes the old fashioned way, gathering eggs, playing in the mud kitchen, breathing in the smells of hay. Kids learn best using their five senses so this farmyard is the perfect addition to the ranch.
