Our next Living History Day is April 13th 11am-2pm. We will reschedule if there is rain.
Please get tickets in advance to help us plan.
Families are invited to tour The Heritage Ranch through ten interactive sensory stations and experience what it was like in the early days of Encinitas using all five senses: seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling.
Sensory activities play an important role in a child’s learning and development. Many museums are hands off, you can look, but can’t touch… during our Living History Days you’ll experience history anew. Think acorn grinding, laundry washing, woodworking, butter making, etc.
*Yes our farm friends will be out to play.
*Drinks & snacks will be available on site.
*Feel free to bring a family picnic like the old days
Dressing up in bonnets, hats, old timey garb, or clothes to get messy is strongly encouraged!!!!
