Join us this May with our local botanical artist, Lora Calcara to learn and create with spring blooming flowers! Come make a flower gift that lasts! Lora’s studio ‘Flora and the Sun’ specializes in special occasion flower preservation and botanical art education. She will share with you tips and tricks on preserving flowers and will guide you into making your own signature piece. Enjoy expressing your unique self through this creative art activity. All materials are provided. Lora will bring her large selection of pressed flowers. You will be intuitively guided to create an art piece that speaks to you. Each participant will take home their own unique framed artwork. The workshop runs for approximately 2 hours and we’ll finish up with horse kisses and participants can help feed our farm animals dinner. What a perfect way to unplug! This evening is perfect for mom/daughter pairs right before Mother’s Day, Tween/Mom bonding or come by yourself and make new friends. We ask that children are 6+.
